RM-20, POK-22 resin bolts
Intended use
- RM-20 and POK-22 resin bolts are used for roof and ribs support in mine working areas as an independent or additional roof support system. They are also used to suspend various components of mining equipment.

Technical description
- RM-20 bolt is a steel reinforcing bar of nominal diameter dn=20 mm, while POK-22 bolts have nominal rod diameter of dn=22 mm according to PN-82/H93215. They are made of 34GS steel.

„k” mark means that the nut is connected with the rod by means of "SPIROL" ø3 or ø6 pin.
„dz” means that the rod is made of two sections connected with M20 coupling sleeve of 55 mm in length.
Finished RM-20 rods have a rolled top of ø16 mm beveled to 12 mm.
POK-22 rods have a square 12 x 12 mm end. Such ends allow the rod to be turned in the hole.

The bolts can be used with a square washer, square washer with a side hole or round washer made of 6mm plate.

Installation procedure
- Drill a hole of the depth equal to the rod length.
Place the resin in the hole. Insert the rod and rotate while pushing causing the resin to mix.
Leave until the mixture has cured. While inserting the „k” rod the nut does not turn as it is joined with the rod by means of a ø3 or ø6 pin.
After the adhesive has set, the pin is sheared by turning the nut. While applying the „k” rod, the rod should be inserted to the hole with the washer on.
In the case of a two-part anchor, the rod should be connected with the M20 coupling sleeve.
Turn the M20 nut applying torque strength of at least 250 Nm in order to obtain the initial tension of at least 30 kN.
RM-20, POK-22 adhesive anchors have a Certificate issued by Central Mining Institute in Katowice allowing the product to be marked with the safety mark No. B/1194/2005.
